Seems as though each day has something to offer. Whether good or bad there’s a huge message to be seen…
“Stories last forever.. “

The above camera in my hands was a huge staple in the camera industry. September 24, 2002, I had just turned 6 years old and the camera was released. “Canon EOS-1 1DS.” It was the first full-frame camera Canon had created. Opening up an entirely new world of opportunity for the company to improve upon.
Here we are now in 2021… 19 years later… and this camera still holds its value as much as it did then.

Something with such an important story falling into my hands all these years later. Has made my vision within photography change almost completely.
I’ve been so focused on capturing the vision of so many others for the entirety of my life. Before a camera was even involved. I thought about what I could do for others. I thought of living a life that was successful upon what others believed was successful. I can admit this. We all have our flaws. Just that this one flaw suffocated the real me.

Time shows everything.
“The key is in not spending time, but in investing it.” – Stephen R. Covey.

SPENDING time on things makes our life more of an expense compared to investment. INVESTING time into things shows more of the value and importance it has to YOU.
The second this camera came into my hands I felt and understood the investment of time I’ve put into my craft.
I reevaluated my goals wisely to ensure that my time be spent as an investment, not as an expense.

we only get this one life. But it lasts forever if we choose how we invest our time wisely.
I now truly know my calling for photography was upon making people aware of their ability to last forever.
Not by how cool they looked. Not by how many followers they have. Not by how much money they had. Not by anything other than them investing in them being… them.
Because similar to this camera that’s story dates quite some time back and is still capturing all these years later on.
“Stories last forever”
